Tipoplo Pullover

The Tipoplo pullover is knitted seamlessly from the top down. It is started at the neckband and then the top of the pullover is shaped with raglan increases. The sweater has a beautiful cable pattern on the front, and even though the cables are very simple, the chunky yarn makes them look impressive. The cable pattern has a 6-row repeat and it is suitable for advanced beginners. After finishing the raglan, the sleeves and the body are knitted separately in the round.

Needles

For the ribbing:

• 8 mm / US 11 DPNs or a circular needle with a cable suitable for small circumference knitting for the cuffs

• 8 mm / US 11 circular needle with a cable length of 40 cm / 16 inches for the neckline

• 8 mm / US 11 circular needle with a cable of length of 80 cm / 32 inches for smaller sizes and 100 cm / 40 inches for larger sizes for the hem

For the main part:

• 10 mm / US 15 DPNs or a circular needle with a cable suitable for small circumference knitting for sleeves

• 10 mm / US 15 circular needle with a cable length of 80 cm / 32 inches for smaller sizes and 100 cm / 40 inches for larger sizes for the main part

Note: Always use the needle size that gets you the right gauge!

Gauge

8 sts and 12 rounds = 10 cm / 4 inches of Stockinette stitch in the round on larger needles, after blocking.
