THIS KNITTING PATTERN IS A DIGITAL DOWNLOAD IN PDF FORMAT AND IN ENGLISH ONLY!

The Rococo Raglan tee is knitted seamlessly from the top down. The neck shaping is worked flat after which the rest of the tee is worked in the round. The lace pattern is knitted on the sleeves and the front and back of the tee is in Stockinette stitch. The hem is folded double to give the tee a neat and finished look. The neckband and sleeve edges are finished with i-cord bind off. The lace pattern is both charted and written.

For the stitch patterns to show best, I recommend choosing unicolor or slightly tonal colorways. For a summer version I would recommend a cotton, silk, viscose or linen blend, for a warmer wintery version choose yarn with high wool content.

My inspiration for this tee were the slightly irregular and curvy carvings from the Rococo era, and the wrapped stitches remind me of the seashells typical for Rococo style. The lace pattern is modified from a lace chart found in the Japanese knitting stitch bible by Hitomi Shida.
