THIS KNITTING PATTERN IS A DIGITAL DOWNLOAD IN PDF FORMAT AND IN ENGLISH ONLY!

Pax was the Roman goddess of peace, daughter of Jupiter and Justice. In art, she is often shown holding olive branches as a sign of goodwill, and she is closely associated with spring. Her story speaks of harmony and renewal, reflected here in an intricate lace design that celebrates detail and craftsmanship.

The Pax pullover is knitted seamlessly from the top down, beginning at the neckline. It features a beautiful lace and bobble pattern on the front, back, and sleeves, with panels of moss stitch adding subtle texture alongside the lace. The lace pattern is fully charted over the increases.

The body and sleeves are divided at the underarm and worked separately in the round. Stitches for the neckband are then picked up and finished in ribbing. If you prefer a simpler look, the bobbles in the lace can be omitted and worked as purl stitches instead. Please note that the lace patterns are charted only, with no written instructions, and the lace is worked on both right- and wrong-side rows before the neckline is joined in the round.
