Nupullaan shawl
Nupullaan shawl
The Nupullaan shawl has a triangular shape, and is worked from the tip to the ribbed edge. One side of the shawl features a lace pattern with bobbles and later on small cables, while the other side is knitted in comforting and meditative garter stitch, which makes the shawl squishy and warm.
“Nupullaan” is a Finnish word describing a flower just about to bloom.
The size of the shawl is easily modified. Just keep adding more rows for a bigger version. You can also finish the shawl by adding tassels to the corners.
