Juno tee

Juno was the chief goddess in ancient Roman mythology. She was the queen of heaven and protector of Rome, but also the goddess of love and marriage. 

The Juno raglan tee is knitted seamlessly from the top down. The neck shaping is worked flat, after which the rest of the tee is worked in the round. The lace pattern is knitted on the sleeves and the front and back of the tee is worked  in Stockinette stitch.

• Finished bust circumference: 77.5 (86.5, 96, 105, 114) (123.5, 132.5, 141.5, 151) cm / 30.5 (34, 37.75, 41.25, 45) (48.5, 52.25, 55.75, 59.5) inches, including the intended ease of -5 to +2.5 cm / -2 to +1 inches (pick the size that is closest to your actual bust circumference) 

• Length from hem to underarm (adjustable): 30 (30, 30, 30, 32) (32, 32, 34, 34) cm / 11.75 (11.75, 11.75, 11.75, 12.5) (12.5, 12.5, 13.5, 13.5) inches

• Raglan depth: 17 (19, 20, 22, 25) (27, 28, 29, 31) cm / 6.75 (7.5, 7.75, 8.75, 9.75) (10.75, 11, 11.5, 12.25) inches

Yarn

660 (720, 800, 870, 960) (1060, 1160, 1280, 1410) m / 720 (790, 870, 950, 1050) (1160, 1270, 1400, 1540) yards of fingering weight yarn.

Sample: 3 (3, 4, 4, 4) (5, 5, 6, 6) skeins of Knitting For Olive Cotton Merino (70% organic cotton, 30% merino; 250 m / 275 yards per 50 g), shown in colorway Dark Ochre.

Needles

For the ribbing:

• 2.5 mm / US 1.5 circular needles with a cable of 40 cm / 24 inches for the sleeve edges

• 2.5 mm / US 1.5 circular needles with a cable of at least 80 cm / 32 inches for the hem

For the main part:

• 3 mm / US 2.5 circular needles with a cable of 40 cm / 24 inches for the neck 

• 3 mm / US 2.5 circular needles with a cable of at least 80 cm / 32 inches for the body

Gauge

24 sts and 32 rows = 10 cm / 4 inches of Stockinette stitch and lace pattern on larger needles, after blocking. Always use the needle size that gets you the right gauge!
