Winona dress
Winona dress
The Winona dress is knitted seamlessly from the top down. The back and front are knitted separately down to the armholes. Then the pieces are joined and the body is knitted in the round. The top of the front and back have an i-cord edging that continues seamlessly into the straps and around the armholes. The hem has a split and the length of the hem is adjustable.
For a summer version of the Winona dress, choose a cotton or linen blend, and for a winter version I recommend a lightly spun or blown wool yarn, which won’t make the dress too heavy and start to weigh it down.
Sizes
1 (2, 3, 4, 5) (6, 7, 8, 9)
Finished bust circumference: 76 (86, 96, 106, 116) (126, 136, 146, 156) cm / 30 (33.75, 37.75, 41.75, 45.75) (49.5, 53.5, 57.5, 61.5) inches, intended to be worn with zero ease
Circumference at hips: 89 (97, 109, 120, 131) (140, 154, 163, 174) cm / 35 (38.25, 43, 47.25, 51.5) (55, 60.75, 64.25, 68.5) inches (adjustable)
Body length from hem to underarm: 80 cm / 31.5 inches, (adjustable). The dress is intended to hit just below the knee so you can adjust the length according to your own length.
Take all measurements while hanging the garment, because the weight of the fabric will stretch it.
