She has in a very short time established herself as one of Finland’s most prominent dyers and I’m always in awe of the colors she creates. When I was asked to design a sock pattern for the Finnish charitable sock knitting contest, Sukka-Finlandia, I knew immediately that I wanted to do it in collaboration with Laura. I chose the Gold Glitter Sock as the base for my sample socks. The Laura socks are best worked with unicolor or slightly tonal yarns for the small twisting cables to show the best – the glitter is optional but always welcome!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Laura socks are worked from the cuff down, with a heel flap and a gusset. The heel is a round French heel for optimal fit.
